2021-10-06T09:44:16+00:00 (UPDATE)
I have been unable to install this Sim since August 2020.
IT WILL NOT START THE DOWNLOAD.
MSFS2020 was working fine on this system prior to the patch #1.
Cannot re-install MS2020 premium deluxe from the MS store.
New 1TB SSD M.2 fitted. New CPU, and all RAM replaced. Graphics card upgraded.
The MS Store keeps giving these errors:
0x803FB107
0x80070141
0x80073D12
0x80073D02
0x80073CF9
0x87E00017
0x80131500
0x80070422
I have tried all these fixes:
There are no pending Windows 10 updates
Checked time and location settings:
Reset the Microsoft Store Cache. WSReset.
Tried running the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.
Perform ‘sfc /scannow’
Installed to a different hard drive
Performed a clean boot of windows
Removing Windows Store local cache file
Reset the Microsoft Store Installer
Disk clean up tool to remove any potential conflicts
Used the Windows Store Troubleshooting tool
Language packs.
Firewall on/off
Router DNS configs. (I am Cisco certified)
Router bandwidth limiting.
Changed ISPChanged the router
I have raised Zendesk tickets and submitted logs.
Next step is to try Windows 11 update.

2021-10-06T10:19:04+00:00 Have you tried reinstalling a clean copy of Windows? That was the trick for me. Did that and it worked straight up. To get the latest update just a few days ago i got a vague error about needing to go to the windows store for an update and when I went there it wasn't showing anything. I then saw I needed to have the xbox app installed and as soon as I did that the update came straight on.
You could spend a lot of time chasing this issue. Just bite the bullet and re install windows...

Quentin, I agree a new OS install probably will fix it.
However, I refuse to do that on a working system.
MS Store works with everything except MSFS2020. I have sent all the logs and error codes to MS, and nobody tells me what the errors mean, or how to fix.
The installer is broken, not my system.
It will take me about two days to reinstall everything back onto a new build. I have FSX with full UK scenery and addons, a full DCS install with many modules.
Plus loads of other apps' and things like VPN's for work.
WIN-11 is nearly here, when that is stable I probably will bite the bullet.
