I'm STILL at it over 12 hours later.
However it WILL install, it only has 3 Gb left. So far only the autotune suggestion for the command line tweak has been helpful. Disabling IPV6, running it through the X Box launcher, nothing seemed to work until I launched the command line prompt as admin and THIS time it said ok. All other times it would just return to the DOS prompt, making me wonder if it had taken. This time it did.
I love how the new installer now tells me where my download starts stalling. It happens to be on the exact same file on the previous installer version. So thanks for the cosmetic upgrade but how about we fix something?????? Wish I could get a refund.
You know what, sorry so crude but f--k Microsoft; They could have been a decent company and allowed those who wanted to purchase the physical copy if the new flight sim do sio. They rushed the program to sell it last fall and it us now blatantly clear that they had no intention of making sure that their customers wouldn't have problems especially JUST to be able to obtain a copy of it they're just like Walmart! They are a huge conglimerarat and don't fine a rats **** about customer service.
Gary, I got a refund from Amazon for that piece of cow dung flight pretender. You have to be determined! You won't get anywhere talking to an agent that answers your call. You need to request to speak with a supervisor! They won't want to refund your money either but be persistent and explain to them that its impossible to download the app and they offer no physical copy of it.

I AM in sim though, it went live for me and finished setup about 30 minutes ago.
Nice to see some refunds! Would love to see a class action lawsuit.
Ive tried all these alchemy fixes which frankly in all my years and software purchases since Windows 95 did not need to do for every single piece of software I have owned. This installed is a joke, they should be embarrassed by it.
