Followed steps to the letter as well. When did Microsoft lose sight of quality? They are consistently subpar in their software products.

My 91GB download starts then crashes a few minutes later.

Guys i was having trouble installing MSFS2020 as well. I was trying to install to my ‘D’ drive and kept getting an error message. MS support was unable to help. I found this post in another thread and it worked for me MSFS2020 is currently installing. Fingers crossed it completes.

Hope it helps someone as it is ridiculously frustrating.

    Hi,

Please rename the folder WindowsApps in Drive D to WindowsApps.old, restart your computer, It should work after renaming it.

    Thank you,

Will try that latet thanks for posting 🤞
