Can't download Microsoft flight sim 2020

They locked the other thread I was following re: downloader not working.  Original release worked, but since the patch, it simply keeps resetting back to 0%.

Tried uninstalling the game, but the fresh install is still having the same problem.  Anybody have a similar experience or have any recommendations?  I haven't been able to launch the game for several weeks.

Same issue, keeps resetting during download of the package 2.

Uninstalled about 8 times, used D drive, increased speed, decreased, reset all kinds or stuff. Cmd prompt

Global tuning set to normal, tried net limiter 4. 

Run everything as administrator, turned off firewall, antivirus. MS store and pc up to date. 

Disabled all programs on startup. Chkdsk fine, pc passes tests, used ccleaner, everything is good. Xbox and Microsoft need to fix this or provide refunds.

The only solution I could find was to delete the entire game and start afresh. As I've said before I would advise against signing out in game if you run the steam version.

I found the solution for me in another community thread. Check your services, there are 3 Xbox services that may be disabled. I enabled them, and started them. The download proceeded. I expect you should set them all to automatic start.

Right where do I begin sigh. First off DO NOT sign out in game. I did this in the stupid belief that it might make the marketplace icon in game reappear......it didn't. Now when I restarted the game via steam and it asked me to log in via Microsoft.  I did, except I logged in with a different account than the one I used to install. I had forgotten which one I used Mea culpa (why Microsoft why?). However I corrected the error and signed back into the proper account via a browser (the first account I used to install the game) so far so good.

However now when I try to run the game,  it wants me to re-download the entire game despite being logged into the proper account. I have the game installed I can see it in my steam folder. I have as yet being unable to start this game since the recent patch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
