    My issue is the update release notes 1.10.8.0

    I have a problem downloading the updates.

    I have the warning screen: Downloading this mandatory update will exceed the current limits you have set for data consuption. Need to temp. Overide the data limit to continue. Etc.

    override data limit & continue.

    i did this and it starts to download, but with time it stops and restarts the download process again and again. Looped.

    Any suggestions. My system is up to date with all that you had mentioned.

    I agree, a standalone installer would be a sensible approach.

    Yet again this morning I cannot re-install the game.

    The store app can install all other updates, but not MSFS2020.

    Pretty disgusting really for such an expensive game.

    2 days to download a 97gig file, and its not my broadband, thats Microsoft servers, im on 350meg BB from virgin media.

    only to find out I then have a further 14gig of content that needs to be downloaded after the main game was installed.

    And all m$ really need to do is set up a torrent of it or a stand alone installer that users can just download once and easily reinstall anytime they want with online updates when they become available, pretty much like Windows 10 itself.

    Mine also worked great on release day, the uninstall and reinstall patch doomed it going forward.  This is total bull$hit from the developer.

    I have been trying to trying to re-install and update MSFS2020 Pro DeLuxe for three weeks.

    Had it installed from release day, worked fine, then the patch screwed it.

    I have tried all the fixes reported in this thread.

    This fault is caused by the application and update delivery mechanism ...IMHO.

    The MS Store keeps giving these errors:

    0x803FB107

    0x80070141

    0x80073D12

    0x80073D02

    0x80073CF9

    0x87E00017
