Can't download Microsoft flight sim 2020

I cant even download over 5.84MiB, fails on fs-base-ai-traffic-0.1.45.fspackage mere minutes into downloading.  Worked just fine on launch day.

Same here, different file but exact same outcome.

So tried downloading the game with the newest patch and yet again the installer is broken.  Ever since the first patch was released, the installer begins to "reset" back to 0% on this file:

pc-fs-base-bigfiles-0.1.80.fspackage

Everything prior to that downloads, but once it gets to that file (which is only 350MB into the download), it keeps resetting to 0%.

Is anyone at Microsoft looking into this?  I haven't been able to play the game for several months.  Starting to feel like I've been ripped off.

Gary, if you purchsed it from Amazon you may be able to get a refund.  I got a refund.  They didnt want to but i insisted. Ask to talk tow a supervisor.

I've  had msfs 2020 since the beginning but today it wouldn't run and came up with the message that the program was already running. But it wasn't. I've tried everything including uninstalling it, but it won't load now. I can seem to download about 1.33 Gb and it says it's launched but it hasn't and doesn't get past a brief black screen. This is just not good enough. I don't know what to do next. Microsoft should not charge for a product which is not reliable. I'm no expert but I have above average understanding about technical matters and it's stumped me!
