Can't download Microsoft flight sim 2020

I found out that I was using a new account due to me making a clean Windows 10 install and that was not the one I used to buy the game from Microsoft. Found the right account (old account) and have now reinstalled the game. Just uploading that huge update now that has been sent, now at 69% of a 40.29 Gb update...wow.

They have our money, Like you I have been waiting a year for them to let me get the launcher, which won't download. May be it is because we don't pay microsoft enough money on subscriptions so they block us out. Keep your disk ,as sometime in the future the game may work with a microsoft download or patch.

I have been trying since when the game came out.The ten disk installed perfectly.But the Launcher won't download from the microsoft store.I can download anything else,but not this game.I can only say lucky you.At least you have had a taste.

Bit the bullet and did a clean Windows install (format disk) and managed to get it going - it was the first thing I installed before anything else.

I did note that before my reinstall my PC was not showing up in https://account.microsoft.com/devices and then Microsoft Store Device Management but my laptop was which would install it. I couldn't get my PC to show up there so I do not know if they are correlated but I suspect so.

Since the reinstall my desktop does show up there and it now installs.

I'm going to try a complete Windows re install and formatted disk in the next few days as a last resort. Such a shame you can't just download an installer.exe to by pass these issues. Especially since I can install other Windows Store apps just not this one.
