There's a Microsoft Store update available today. After installing the update, I was able to begin the download. It's 153 Gigs, so I've got a ways to go, but at least it started.

Thanks for the effort and the attempt to help.  Sadly, I'm still, "no joy", to use a flying term.

I opened the box of my brand-new Alienware M15 R4, yesterday.  It's super powerful, and new, so no issues there.  I've updated everything... All Windows updates, all Alienware updates, all drivers and downloads from Dell, all downloads and updates from Microsoft Store.

It's truly amazing to me that I cannot download a Microsoft product, onto a Microsoft OS.  Huh?  And then I start reading online, and find out thousands of people are experiencing the same thing.. for many months on end?

Tried calling Microsoft Support, and of course, a recording tells me they've moved online, which is just a FAQ... great!

This is my first return to MSFS since MSFS '98.  Truly sad state of affairs.  Where's my $119?

I agee, I will get my refund!

I tried last weekend last thing i could think of. I took my pc to my friends house and tried downloading there flight sim and guess what..didnt work :D. He has much faster and wired connection than mine so i would say these downloading issues are pretty much completely on that piece of **** installer. Lets see if todays update does anything.

Good Luck - With that, how many years did it take the Microsoft software developers to come up with FS Sim 2020? And it still runs like ****. Can’t even install it. My Internet speeds are 200 MB with a Google home Wi-Fi system. Still were unable to install!!

    New WIN10 update applied:

    I still cannot install:

    ERROR 0x87E00017

    ....no other information.

It has been like this for months.

    Other errors are:

    0x803FB107
    0x80070141
    0x80073D12
    0x80073D02
    0x80073CF9
    0x80131500
    0x80070422

    Tried:
    WSreset,
    installing gaming services again,
    rebooting computer,
    sfc /scannow,
    latest updates,
    time adjustments.
    Language packs.
    Firewall on/off
    Router DNS configs.
    Router bandwidth limiting.

Yes I’ll repy, software delovipers of MS FS 2020 should be sent back to the mail room!
    i want my money back.
Should have known on a release of a new software product there would be a myriad of fixes and patches where is Microsoft is not addressing. Their installer for this program is well totally a relevant because it doesn’t work. Pay me
