    It's the 23th of december and was very much looking forward to this game.

    Thrilled to read it has VR support now.

    Reading all the posts from 'reddit' than from 'steam' and than on this channel I can confirm having the same struggles to get this product installed. So in the end I requested a refund....

    This is absolutely ridicilous, I have paid 90 euro's and basically have all the same problems mentioned in this post earlier from start of launch of this product. Hanging on installation on 'decompressing files' for hours on end, restarting the installation again and again, taking hours to get anywhere with this installation and nothing is happening. I have tried the solutions given like 'net manager' nothing is working. And come to think of it, I am kind of fed up having to go through to all this efforts just wanting to play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

    I have paid 90 euro's and just wanted to play your game Microsoft. Just install the 120 GB on my PC, that's the only task you have. For now this installer just isn't working for a lot of people.

    I tried that and reformatting, new HD...everything.  We cant ignore the fact that we should not be chasing down fixes, some of them totally ridiculous as well.  The installer is seriously flawed.

    I agree, a standalone installer would be a sensible approach.

    Yet again this morning I cannot re-install the game.

    The store app can install all other updates, but not MSFS2020.

    I have been trying to trying to re-install and update MSFS2020 Pro DeLuxe for three weeks.

    Had it installed from release day, worked fine, then the patch screwed it.

    I have tried all the fixes reported in this thread.

    This fault is caused by the application and update delivery mechanism ...IMHO.

    The MS Store keeps giving these errors:

    0x803FB107

    0x80070141

    0x80073D12

    0x80073D02

    0x80073CF9

    0x87E00017

    So the 1.9.5.0 hotfix was released today and still unable to download the game.  Is Microsoft even acknowledging that this issue still exists for a lot of the people who bought the game?  Seems like they don't care.
