That sequence you described does not fix the Network Inspection Service not running, and I never claimed plugging the drive in sets memory integrity to off.
In fact I stated the exact opposite of that.
As long as memory integrity is set to on BEFORE plugging the drive in then it's all good, except for the fact that on my system the Network Inspection Service not running had absolutely nothing to do with the WD SES Device drivers in the first place.
Yes, these are two separate issues. I only described here how to turn the core isolation back "on"
