here were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80080005).

This is the error I get every time for a few days.

I tried troubleshooting but it didn't work. 

Many have said in other queries(for the same problem) to Reset SoftwareDistribution & Catroot2 folders. But I'm scared to do that because I'm worried if something happens to my laptop.

Please suggest a way to solve this issue.

This is a frequent issue sometimes caused by driver compatibility errors: Windows 10 Update Assistant (microsoft.com)

You could try downloading the Windows Update Assistant. It can help bump your version of windows past this sort of update error to the latest version.

Choose the 1st option for the update assistant: Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

    Yes, I already resolved it on my own. Thank you for your reply. There was no need for so much., most of the time, these techs are so used to doing too many things may make matters worse. I keep with the tried and true!

    My computer is running fine and i will never do what they are telling you to do unless your a pro.....IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT........i know you have to fix everything dont you....?

    Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
