    This bar got worse since the screenshot above.

    Now if you are using FireFox, etc, as a default browser it says Web browsing. Restore, recommended, which is purposefully misleading for many people because it implies that there's something wrong with the setup.

    Other items are just as bad.

    Useless Rewards that I have to sign in for (I'm logged in with a local account).

    It shows how many hours ago it checked for updates. What's the point if it's automatic anyway? Even if paused, those who paused it know what they did and it's temporary anyway.

    OneDrive that keeps nagging to back up files. I must've told it dozens of times that I don't need a cloud backup and it still asks once in a while, and now this thing is right in the middle of the Settings app.

    This "feature" must be written by a junior co-op. How it got through any senior product management is beyond comprehension.

    I agree 100% This banner is an answer to a question nobody asked. You can easily get to the featured (if you wasnt to) manually (I use Edge) Many people dislike / hate it most others don't bother (anymore?) why not give us a toggle to switch the bloody thing off? What happened to the customer is right? The silence from MS is deafebing.

    For me that stupid banner appeared today. Maybe cause of the regional version of W10.
    It is indeed just utterly useless and misleading. The mention that the browser can be improved is just 1000% misleading: I am sure that MS want to make Edge the default.

    I did try the suggested site and solution here to disable, but that didn't work here (latest 20H2).

    MS doesn't really care that much about that. It is the same with the News & Weather taskbar thing. Although that can be disabled, it IS kinda forced everybody's throat by making it an Opt-Out system.
