Hi, I too faced the same problem and i tried with various command prompt codes and found that the error was occurred due to crash in Cortana. Just reset the Cortana the error will fix automatically.

That is nice that resetting Cortina fixed it for you but how about providing some details on just how you did that?
Go Windows settings click on Apps, Cortana, and click advanced options then click reset. Done! 👌
