Lost my character of minecraft dungeons.

Yeah it’s CLEARLY a definite issue.. multiple people have c/o it. They need to at least acknowledge us all and tell us something.. and fix their clear error not just let it go.. really annoys me

there are 2 folders here Characters and CharactersTrashcan the Characters folder contains all of your saved characters in a .bak file which if you look at the name example 0DE629484C4D8F9DE07E2BA9D8257C0D.dat.bak these are characters that you can play with the ones in the Trashcan folder have to be converted to a bak file so i used notepad++ and opened up the dat file and then just turned around and saved as .dat.bak and that create the bak file of your deleted character. hope that helps

I do not see CharactersTrashcan folder anywhere and after the game update wich deleted my character and all my progress with it, i have checked 2 locations where game seems to keep saves(unfortunetly i got to know about that when harm was done so i did not make a backup):

1. AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Lovika_8wekyb3d8bbwe

2.Saved Games\Mojang Studios\Dungeons\2535432381196037

and theres only 1 save with character i just made on lvl 1, no .dat.bak or .bak files there, they deleted everything i achived with GAME UPDATE that was FORCED to me.

I've stopped playing after reaching third difficulty, it became a grind fest with very little new item to trade for my old awesome items.

I haven't played in forever .... I have season pass so i'll get the update but when it's released i wont be more interested to try it than I am now.

It's a fun game-preview, but it's far from being a complete game, and why is it called minecraft dungeons there isn't any crafting.

How can't they have cloud save? 

Just got an error so i had to reinstall it and lost my 123 lvl character.

Im so annoyed that i have to start allover again after spending like 30 hours+ on my last character.....
