The new Update is here! Windows 10 2004.

This version of Windows COMPLETELY DESTROYED MY PC. I just reinstalled Windows and removed all my files and IT STILL SUCKS. Windows keeps stuttering and lagging in every application and even without running anything just on my desktop my mouse freezes every .02 seconds. 

RELEASE A PATCH, MICROSOFT. You have again wasted my time by forcing me to do an update.

Define new version!  Has Microsoft made changes to the download package to address all the installation issues? Or is this just same old version presented again?

The sole focus of the Windows Insiders - who include employees from Microsoft, hardware manufacturers and software developers - is release quality.

Having the Insiders test new releases is far superior to having only Microsoft employees do the testing. Microsoft can't possibly test a release candidate on every combination of hardware and software, and Microsoft doesn't have the proprietary knowledge of third-party hardware and software products needed for a full evaluation.

Sorry, but I have never seen a more inaccurate post for any Microsoft operating system release since I have been using computers.  Windows 10 is the all-time worst quality in a Microsoft release of any product I have ever seen.  It is worse than Windows 3.1, and that is pretty bad.

These Insiders are really doing a poor job of ensuring quality.  That is for sure.

Are they even trained to undue the damage created by by their lack of quality in their products?   Several calls made to Service Representative at MS confirm that they are not.

    I was guided to this question on PC failures after up dates on W's10.  Every 2 months my PC crash's after updates.  I am on my 3rd time.  This failure in involves a lot of homework and time  on my part to begin again 

    I am not a computer GEEK or good typist.  I am 76 and would rather spend the time I have on other things.

  I have 2 different screen versions of Hotmail, I hate one and can't get mine pinned to start or dragged to task bar.  SOUNDS simple but is a monster.  

Thank you for your help.  Your reply tells me why this is happening.  My friend will tell me how refuse updates but more important is to glean what is good and leave the rest but if what look's inviting is BAD I don't want it.  Thinking people expect to be presented with a Quality product from Microsoft.  Sorry to learn this but look at what we have for a President, Ha HA.  Quality in the real world is hard to find among the trash presented.

Cheers to being 76!  This granny is 79 and still without full use of my computer since the  last Windows 10 update.

I fully agree with the statements you have made, growing up when we did, we had quality in our lives, something  the younger

generation will never experience.

Were you able to restore your computer to the way it was before the last update?

 I ENVY those of you who cannot get the update!  Unfortunately, I was able to and it completely hosed my computer.

I began getting the seizure-invoking extremely bright and super fast flickering screen of death... or the blank WHITE screen of death.... or the PIXELATED screen of death upon waking computer from sleep mode.  Had to manually turn off/on the computer (so many darned times) since I could not use the mouse on flickering screen.  Spent almost a whole day with this UTTER NONSENSE.

It screwed up my drivers + other things (settings.)  In searching for  Answers on line, I came to realize it was the LATEST AND GREATEST update (ahem!) from MS causing all these problems.  My neighbor has problems now too.  The web is literally flooded with complaints about this update.   One poor woman spent $150 getting the geek squad to fix her broken computer, only to be told it was the update that caused her computer problems.  Good Job MS!!

Sooooo, I opted to roll back to my previous version of win 10.  more hours spent.  That also created some problems with drivers, BUT my computer is working as it did before the update--PERFECTLY!

Now the problem is:  I can only defer getting the NEW update until October 10 when it will be FORCED down my throat once again.   I have the 'home edition' so I cannot use the supposed work-around for those of you that have the 'pro-version.'

I am also still without use of my computer since the last update from MS....any suggestions as to where to go from here?   Aside from missing drivers I am also locked out of my administrator account.  Is there any help out in the community for this problem?  MS doesn't seem to care ~ Thank you
