The new Update is here! Windows 10 2004.

Hey all!

The new version 2004 is up and ready to download. Theres two methods to install it.

Method one:

Setting > Update & Security > Windows Update (selected by default) > Check For Updates (all in lower caps)

P.S if you not able to find any updates It maybe your windows version (1909) is conlficting with your updates.  If this happens follow method two:

Method two:

Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 > click on update now to install (Windows 10 update assistant) > follow the instructions and wait for install to complete. (read P.S If you new to the Windows 10 Update Assistant software.)

P.S allow the software to download and install the new windows version one done a notification will pop on the desktop. Dont worry this is normal and the software will automatically restart your pc. 

DO NOT TURN OFF THE DESKTOP OR LAPTOP WHEN IT RESTARTS.

    Hi,

    Well Surprisingly on April 11 the automatic updates installed the 20H2 windows 10 update; it took 6 hrs, and the after a number of more updates and restarts, the new Windows 10 was fully installed and updated.

    I've waited until now to see if any glitches were caused by the install, and all is good.

    My  desktop PC and laptop are working as well as ever with no problems so far.

    I just let it do it's thing and followed all the prompts.

    looks like I was worried about nothing.

    you can take the creation media tool and you must delete all the apps till one app is left

    My installation is stuck at 61% and don't know how to get rid of it. It's preventing other updates from installing. Any ideas. Is this update crucial?
