    Hi Don

    Thanks for your reply.

I read the article so that Microsoft will not correct the error but just, in the next update, hide them in Event Wiever :-(

These warnings are there by design and will not hurt your computer. Just ignore them. I have lost count at the number of topics on this matter here and in the Feedback Hub. Your computer will be fine. Take care.

    Cheers

My computer is not fine, sometimes there is between 10 and 20 event 642 in 2 ou 3 seconds, and my computer freezes. My mouse move, but I need to reset every times

It sounds like you have something else going on besides Event 642 that would cause your computer to freeze. There are numerous reasons that could cause this. I would suggest that you start a new thread about your problem with better information as to what is going on so an experienced forum moderator can help you. Personally I do not think it is Event 642 that is causing your problems as there would be many other users with computer freeze and MS would be on top of it if that were the case.

    Cheers

I know it's ''something else'', the event 642 only reports the info about that ''something''.................That ''something'' is :

The database format feature version 9080 (0x2378) could not be used due to the current database format 1568.20.0, controlled by the parameter 0x410022D8 (8920 | JET_efvAllowHigherPersistedFormat)..

I did'nt had these database format issu before the upgrade to 2004 and EVERY single time my computer freeze, there is between 10 & 15 of the 642 event in a few seconds. I realized that everytime it happened, I was looking some video using the ''Film & TV'' app from Microsoft. Was hard to tell that is was the problem, since I do multiple thing on multiple screen and I had almost always some video playing on my secondary screen. Since I stop using that app and use VLC instead, I didn't have freezing anymore. I only have  642 event when I boot, related to Edge, but it doen'st cause any freeze. So what was causing it,  was when I had like 10 or more 642 event at the same time while using that ''Film & TV'' app, which is provided by Microsoft.... One of their own app cause freezing after one of their own update, and 4 months later, even if my error report are automatically submitted to them, they didn't even bother fixing it, I had to troobleshoot and fix it by myself.

My computer was freezing, and everytime it happened, after rebooting I saw in the event viewer between 10 & 15 event 642 related to database format issue. After troubleshootting, it was caused by watching video using the ''Film & TV''. I uninstalled it and now use VLC media player instead, and no more event 642 and no more freezing.
