One issue with this update is that it seems to be pushed out via windows update for all processors. Some users have reported they have AMD processors and are still offered this update. Personally I have a 1st gen Intel i5 (Lynnfield) processor and I too have the update. Unfortunately the link to the update info for KB4497165 isn't offered until the update is installed and it appears in View update history. So there are no steps to action the statement "Install this update for the listed processors only". On the face of it a WU failure. The update can be uninstalled but will be offered again pretty quickly. Users having an issue after this update installs should use the Feedback Hub to inform the development team. I have to say I have no issue after the update.

PS looks like May 2020 is out for public release but I would suggest to all users reading this to wait until it is offered via windows update and not jump in early.

Dear Cassandra - I am an ordinary home Windows user. I do not select updates, W10 does that. And I only posted my query today. So I rather resent being told "KB4497165 is not a Microsoft Update...What part of...'install this update for the listed processors only'. did you guys miss?" Should I uninstall it or not?

Blue screen recovery error received after may update. Using HP desktop, cannot enter recovery mode. How can I restore my computer and save my files
