Correct, we are not communicating with Microsoft by using the Microsoft forum. That would require that Microsoft actually has employees monitoring their own forum so that they could actually see and understand what their customers are experiencing. That would require a company that actually cares about their customer base. Hence why it is so frustrating to so many users that want to report issues but cannot find a way to be heard by anyone that can do anything about it, even with the reporting app.
Microsoft thinks so little about the end user's ability to think for themselves that they won't even allow us to turn off the auto-update anymore.
Regarding your comment about a Microsoft update possibly not working due to a BIOS not being updated first. Almost no real users understand how or would ever update their BIOS. To depend on that for a OS update to work properly is foolhardy at best.
