Tried all of that and none worked. I have this issue about every other update. Most of the time a restart or a shut down cures the problem, but not this time. I'm moving on to a system restore.

I have the same thing happen about every other update. I do the usual restart, then if necessary a complete shutdown. Usually that takes care of the problem. With this update I have tried both a restart and a shut down 4 times with no success, so I've shut down and unplugged the computer for a few minutes.  (10 minutes later) Well, that didn't work either. Anybody else got any ideas?

If you can then roll back to Windows 8 Home Single Language. If the upgrade to Windows 10 from that you should reach Windows 10 Home Single Language, you do not need to find any illegal licence keys.

Windows 10 Home Single Language may activate but the free upgrade offer was 2015 to 2016. If it does not activate then you will need to go to the Windows 10 Store and see if you can buy a licence.
