If your computer is running fine, then don't update it. You run more risk of not being happy then of it working out.
My cumulative update is not installing.
it shows error message " Error 0x800f081f".
i hope somebody help with this.
Windows 10 isn't updating.
I'm running Windows 10 Home Edition version 1903.
I have recently started using a netbook which I haven't used for a number of months. Obviously it required updating but any attempts I've made to update it have failed. I've run the trouble shooter many times but although it reports that it has made changes still no updates will download.
Following the recommendation above to install Servicing stack updates first, I clicked on the appropriate link for 32-bit and soon after the application began to run it advised it was 'not applicable to your computer'.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions as to how I can overcome this issue.
I cannot believe you are even trying to justify the repeated disasters Microsoft has caused virtually every time they release an update! It is totally inexcusable and unacceptable. As a result we are migrating our many customers away from anything Microsoft.
