Cumulative updates - May 12th 2020

I don't work for Microsoft I just use their product and all I can do is tell folks what I do to address these issues.

I might mention that my Updates install just fine and work well so apparently I am doing something right. And what I do is learn  how to work WITH my computer so that I can accomplish what I want to.

This means I make use of the tools they give me.

You can find the Catalog here: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx if the automatic updates create issues for you it is sometimes best to make sure all TRACES of the failed ones are removed from your device and then find the appropriate update by kb number there and install it manually.

AND always remember chkdsk/f

It's astonishing how often those and the removal of junk as I recommended earlier in this thread  and even a check to see if one needs to run an optimization 

can help keep things running smoothly. I know most of us have this set to run automatically but if your device is getting sluggish a check of this to make sure all drives are AT optimum (and not fragmented to Albuquerque and Back doesn't hurt.)

I'm concerned.

I updated my computer to this new update, then shut it down (by clicking Update and Shutdown). Two days later, I turned it on for the first time since the update, and it starts up with the windows symbol, then freezes. It then shows me the blue screen saying it has to restart(error code: INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE). it repeats this startup-then-crash cycle until it loads automatically repair. I was able to revert to a point before it installed the update, and it worked again! But then I decided to reinstall windows(it was running very slowly). it started installing windows again, but I then realized it was installing the broken update again! Now it has destroyed the restore point(I have none now) and the only thing left to do is get an ISO and manually install it. What's annoying is that Microsoft has reported no bugs, and doesn't give you older ISO versions(You're forced with the latest one). This is terrible. I can't get on to my computer and I need help.

seems to be isolated to ryzen? so far both my intel system updated itself, one 6 year old i5 2500k, another i7, both have no problem, is it random for some hardware set up? now im scare to off my both my pc, so far they are working fine.  Haven't seen any solid evidence of the problem though,? like no videos on youtube at all, MS is denying those problems exist. Some forum said scammers are reporting errors cause their exploits are patched. ?Perhaps those really with issues can record a video and post it on youtube as proof.

Fica asim direto e quando desligo começa tudo outra vez

After updating, on restart, a message came, AMD driver issue. Not able to click any button except msgbox OK. Again restarted and found the hard drive' long dst test failed. 

Tried resetting the windows to factory defaults without deleting files, but no luck. Tried system restore also. But... 

Any advise please?
