Only after 3 days I was able to get Windows 10 2004, but with the sacrifice of the old installation, that was lost on the process of common update.

Since the update, I tried to do all kind of fixes (fixing the update and recovering the old installation) that Windows 10 allowed, but after so much pain I discovered that the original update procedure corrupted a lot of system files, including GUI components, so it was impossible to access UI also in Safe Mode.

Then, I had to create a new Windows 10 installation and now I am installing every software I lost and moving files and profiles moved to Windows.old.

Next upgrade I will pay attention to perform only 6 to 9 months after first users (test subjects) suffered enough after the upgrade.

Finally after Three and a half hours I installed Windows 10 2004 Feature update on my Lenovo Ideapad 320 without a hitch, my machine had several restarts with no hiccups, so far, so good.

I would post others as soon as I get more information about others.

Microsoft would provide that information to all users together with the notification of new upgrades like that. Doing so, common users would decide to update only if it is checked.

Additionally, more experienced users would perform these tests, updating their machines when they are not listed. So, if it is ok or not, they would add some comments to provide common users to decide to update without official manufacturer check for that model, and to provide developers to check issues. I do not know why Microsoft Rewards do not add that actions to earn points, because more users would check to earn them and the final product would be improved.

Until a few days ago I saw a notification on my Windows Update page (in the Settings) saying "your device is not quite ready yet". A few days ago that notification disappeared, but the 2004 update does not appear as an option on the Windows Update page.
