No, Winkey + C will still open Cortana. But you have to type or select the microphone icon after opening the app in order to communicate with her.

2020-06-04T17:06:55+00:00 For Info:
After a few (lot of) tries on Hyper-V machine (copy of my desktop windows 10 1909 x64 pro).
I use the iso file from MediaCreationTool2004 for eatch of my tries.
Finally I made the installation working doing:
- Clean the root disk (c) "c: property\clean\clean system Files"
- Clean all restauration point et disable system protection
- Clean all Microsoft event logs (just to make it easier to read)
- Make sure to have 30 Gbytes of free disk place
- MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AT LEAST 8 GBytes of memory available
And finally the installation occurs.
Need a few hours, it's very very slow. Amazing how Microsoft is regressing! I think developpers should have a Intel-I5 with 8 Gbytes maximum, so they'll understand about speed, but they certainly have a Intel-I9 or a vitual machine very very fast!)
At the end of installation, last (?) reboot and..., a black screen for quite a while.
A while, that is quite a long time since the corona containment but now, thanks to microsoft, I have now much more plenty of time to do home work, clean the house, the car, .....
After this "a while", about 2 hours, I watch at the monitor, may be I don't have to watch TV to have something else than a black screen!?
No luck!
"So I decide to force reboot".
And,... Black screen.
BUT after about 10 min something appears and I can connect through RDP to the virtual machine !!!!
Now at least I have the welcome screen.
Obviously, there are a lot of programmers to welcome because it tooks about 15 min!
And now it's ok..., or not!
Winver tells me I am still at version 1909!!!!
****!
I decide to restart the whole thing during the night, may be it happends some secrets I am not allowed to see!
Indeed, It worked, the version is now windows 10 2004 ! ("force a reboot" was obviously not a good idea)
So,résumé:
I use the iso file from MediaCreationTool2004
- Clean the root disk (c) "c: property\clean\clean system Files"
- Clean all restauration point et disable system protection
- Clean all Microsoft event logs (just to make it easier to read later)
- Make sure to have at least 30 Gbytes of free disk place
- MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AT LEAST 8 GBytes of memory available (I tried on a windows 10 pro), I have tried with 6 Gbytes and I just received "update failed" nothing more nothing less.
- Wait, wait ,......
Cortana not working (fr-fr).
