After numerous hours (I lost count) the update finally concluded on my HP laptop running the home version. Apart from some changed options and settings, everything looks good so far. Nevertheless I think that this will be the last major update on this 9-years old system. It's becoming simply too old and too slow for the current (and future) Windows versions.

    Hi EleshPatel,

When you use the MCT, launch it, and then select "Upgrade This PC" and then follow the onscreen instructions. This is Not a "Clean Install" but it is as clean as you can get without losing all your files and Apps. that you have preinstalled to your system.

But still I would recommend to wait till it is offered to you by MS Under check for updates.

After update, my keyboard does not work.  The mouse pad however does.  Im using my HP Envy on tablet mode to send this message.

    Hi Andrew,

Did you check for any updates from the HP Web Site before you attempted to upgrade to Win 10 May 2004?... I had around five major updates that was applied to my New Dell before I attempted the Upgrade and all went fine. Try and navigate over to HP's site and check for updates for your particular HP Make And Model Number.
