I received the notification yesterday my Device wasn't quite ready yet, but as soon as it was, I would be able to take the download then.

Right now, I have Windows 10 Home, version 1909, build 18363.836.

    I have an Inspiron 15 R (Inspiron 7520)

    3rd Generation Intel Core i5 - 3210M 2.5 GHz (3M cache up to 3.10 GHz)

    6GB DDR 3.2 DIMM

15.6 High Definition 720p LED Display with Truelife

    AMD Radeon HD 7730M 2GB

750 GB 54 RPM SATA Hard Drive (612 GB free space)

Intel Centrino Wireless 2230, 2x2 bgn + Bluetooth

Got this info from Device Manager

Conexant SmartAudio HD Driver version 8.54.37.0 Driver date 4/05/2012

Intel (R) Display Audio Driver version 6.16.0.3154

I went to Dell and searched for the latest driver for Conexant Smart AudioHD for my laptop using my service tag number. There was another driver available as of 5/15/2016.

I downloaded the driver and it installed successfully. I then had to restart my laptop. When I was back on the desktop, it no longer showed the Conexant SmartAudio HD where the speaker icon is on the taskbar.

I went to the Device manager, and Conexant SmartAudio HD was no longer listed. I also have Logitech USB External Speakers, and the drivers for that was listed.

So I still had volume through the USB external speakers. However, the microphone no longer worked, because it required the Conexant SmartAudio HD in order for it to work.

I had to do a system restore, and that worked. So I still have the driver version 8.54.37.0. I don't know why updating to the latest driver made Conexant SmartAudio disappear, however.

I did just read at Micorosoft that they were working with Conexant SmartAudio HD to try and solve the problem. I guess that means that I will have to wait until the problem is fixed and then I'll be able to download the upgrade to version 2004 through Windows Update. At least, I hope so!

For those of you having problems installing the New Windows 10 May 2004 Update. This Link will take you to a MS Document that lists some of the known issues with the update.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/status-windows-10-2004

I used the "Media Creation Tool" to install the update, and had NO problems. I do not recommend the Update Assistant at his time. If you still see problems I recommend for you to wait awhile till you update.

I Hope This Helps Some of you.
