It may become available after a few months. No harm in waiting.

    Hi Paul,

HP has a list available now. If you are looking for a specific device, let me know the make and model.

Hi .    the message in Windows update  that announced me, that soon  more later,  (may be months)    coud  get the update  ,  since 3 days ago  ,  no longer is shows

Now nothing comes out. Could this mean that it may never be available for my pc?

this message has disappeared in my windows update :

Try the "Media Creation Tool."  You can choose which Windows 10 you want.  The May 2020 Feature Update (Version 2004) has had a couple of Cumulative Updates already.

Hi Sumit, thank you for your response (sorry for late response but I've had 2 Family members including Mum passaway including Mum in last 6 weeks).

My Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C50-A-13G although I was going to sit tight until it was offered but the problem is I'm now being offered (or forced) to download 1909 under Windows Updates, which I understand why as my current OS 1809 is only going to be supported until November. (& by the fact I'm being offered 1909 again must indicate that 2004 for my Laptop is a long way off !)

I was hoping to go straight to 2004 from 1809 because  if I go to 1909 it will only give me until May 2021 and I don't want to go through process of reinstalling Apps, Favourites in browser and other 3rd party software twice (first with 1909 then 2004) besides which I'm sure the issues with 1909 "cumulative Updates" that started in March which you were Moderator for, those issues have they been resolved in later Updates on patch Tuesday etc ?

The reason I'm still on 1809 is because in March this year when 1909 was "forced" on me without looking  it totally wouldn't complete the install ...hence went back to 1809 and given more time when the under of service date was extended.

I've looked at Media Creation tool but that now gives 2004, so is there a way of getting 1909 (assuming all the old issues sorted) and be able to keep Files (even if go to windows.old), Favourites in browsers, short cuts etc etc.

Finally what Edge does 1909 come with ? (reason I ask is my Bank requires me to run IBM Trusteer Rapport and the latest version  .1955 will not work with New Chrome Edge.

    Thanks

    Paul
