2020-06-03T13:33:13+00:00 I updated to Windows 2004 yesterday evening, and my system is not running well at all. I was watching a movie on the Netflix app last night, and the system became unresponsive. I shut down the system last night and went to bed. This morning,
I have had the system boot and immediately freeze when launching any and all programs causing me to have to restart using ctrl-alt-delete numerous times.
On one of the reboots, I saw a message saying WindowsBackgroundTasks was not responding, and needed a reboot. I rebooted again after seeing that error message, and managed to load Powershell as the first program I loaded. I ran the sfc /scannow, and the dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth commands, and so far, the system is stable enough to type this post. Are there any other ways to check and repair the system to prevent the issue from returning? Thanks for the help.
