The problem persists.
The workaround from Mathew works.
I prefer more bug solving Windows updates than feature updates.
Actually, the feature updates bring no added value most of the time. Just more bugs and disruptions.

Good morning,
I am having a problem with my Windows 10 file explorer searches. When I search for an item, it brings back results in for the current folder and all subfolders as it should. When I click on "Current folder" in the search tools, however, it does nothing. I still see all results from all subfolders.
I believe this problem started after installing NVIDIA GeForce Experience and the latest NVIDIA driver. I tried to do a system restore, but it seems I dont have any restore points. That is another problem I will have to fix.
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what Microsoft was thinking. Searching in the current folder is just messed up.

2021-01-02T09:48:07+00:00 Hmm... From what I can tell, when you search for an item, it shows results from all subfolders as usual. But, if you click on the arrow next to the search box after searching for an item, and then click on "current folder", the results from the current folder are shown.
Not sure if this is an intentional bug or something I discovered recently, but I hope this problem gets fixed.

2020-11-05T08:44:52+00:00 Check the answer from MatthewSibley , He found a workaround where you have to click on the blue arrow before you switch to current folder. It is a windows error. But this is how i do it now.
