Well it worked for me, but I agree it may not work for you. I tried more than the 8th method. Before I tried previous ones which didn't apparently solved the problem. But may be this started to reset some things, that made the 8th method successful.
When applying such steps, it may resets some internal "parameters" that get corrupted, and for others the extent of the corruption may be beyond certain methods.
I agree with you that the real problem is the one that make them become corrupt. Did you read the latest post I did in reply to Joakim. My first post mentioned that my problem was solved when applying the 8th method. But I forgot to explain how and which
of the other methods I applied before, without success.
I agree that situation is extremely annoying and frsutrating. I've been annoyed with that more than a month. The problem didn't happen yet after applying the latest Windows version, which means that the bug may be not obvious to track.
It seems to me that the problem became to appears after I activatedtwo factor authentification, for different services, through either Microsoft Authentificator or Google Authentificator Apps. May be this also happened when I played with Synchronisation
between devices in Edge.
But devices were the same long before I played with the switches and are still the same.
