windows 10 version 2004 which is the latest feature update, freezes randomly.

if anyone knows how to fix it please help its victims.

    Sorry guys, fix didn't work for me.

    There is no solution other than to roll back to 1909. For those unlucky enough not to have done that keep looking for a patch on Microsoft update. For those who went back such as myself, I keep checking on Microsoft update for a supersceding update which fixes 2004.

    Like you, when I first reported this issue on June 17th, I wipe my entire computer and downloaded (MediaCreationTool2004.exe) and it installed version 2004 (OS Build 19041.330) as of today no freezes. However, tomorrow I will start my video training online again and I will report back to see if the same issues start again.

    I desktop - 1 laptop -

    Laptop has NVidia geForce750m & Intel4600 disply drivers - video keeps hanging. Firefox keeps hanging. Apps slow to load. Apps wont close. Slow Boot. Sometime apps hang for minutes then finally respond - system unusable - rolledback.

    Desktop, this has radeon display. All symptoms as above, also BSOD Kernode exception not handled nsu.sys - also rolled back as unusable.

    Both had excessive esent events.

    Same problem - new lenovo c940 has gone from fast to very slow, and randomly freezes all day.  Then trying a Restart hangs too and have to do a forced close.W

    Installed 2004 on 22 June on two laptops - both now half non responsive.  

    Fixes to 2004 do not address this and are two weeks old anyway, so should be included in the download yesterday.

    Still having them issues, boot just took 10mins instead of the expected 60secs.

    Will try to sweat it out for now and hope for the next updates.

    Just for the record:

    Asus P8Z68-V LE

    Intel i5 2500K

    8GB Corsair RAM

    MSI ATI HD6850 Cyclone

    1x SSD

    2x HDD

    Old, but it should all still work and no hardware errors.
