Identical issue here. Never  had  this with any build before. What to do, just wait?

Installed on two Dell laptops two days ago. One is two years old the other nearly 10with maximum ram installed, core i5.  On the newer one I had to roll it back completely unfunctional; the older one I still have it on but freezes now and then with very long reboots. Something is definitely wrong with version 2004!!!!

    Hello everyone,

I am running win 10 version 2004 19041.329, not the beta version. As of yesterday June 16th, 2020 my computer started to freeze when I was watching a couple of videos on udemy. I was also copying and pasting some questions and answers using Microsoft Word 2016. The computer started to freeze. When I went to look at the event viewer I noticed all the alerts ESENT 642 and I could not find a resolution.

I have spent the past four days playing with Version 2004 trying to get it to run right -- random freezing, apps not opening, restarting taking forever.  Finally I rolled back both Dell laptops (2018 and a 2011 industrial strength Latitude model totally maxed RAM) back to Version 1909.  Folks at Windows, Version 2004 HAS SERIOUS ISSUES THAT MUST BE FIXED!

I am experiencing random freezes as well, sometimes it ends with a total lockup, rarely with a BSOD, but mostly no error message at all. Have a 1 year old Clevo laptop (P960EN - NVidia 2080 max-q). I thought at first that it was a heat problem, renewed the thermal paste and thermal pads. No changes. Did a clean install of Windows 10 - 2004. No changes. Didn´t do a rollback to 1909 yet, but will do when nothing changes, just to check if it is a software problem and because my laptop is not nice to work on at the moment. It is at least annoying, but I was already thinking that some hardware broke, was looking to replace it. Microsoft, please look into this!

Have an Asus Laptop I7 with 16Gbytes of ram, SSD drive as boot disk.

This is the third time I install the version 2004.

The 2 first times, the PC freezed immediatly at first boot.

Before the third try, I clean up my boot disk (clean system files)

    Remove all restore-points

Clean Event logs (just to make them easier to read)

Everything worked OK ,... for one day, and the the Laptop begin to freeze again, and, then, freeze immediatly at all boots.

Have to revert to Windows 10 1909.

I'll try after the next update.
