Same with my i7 Asus ROG Z390-F Gaming, 16G RAM and Nvidia 1060.

I noticed, that when I switch users, it hangs after 10-15 working with any application. So when you try to open app or website it just doesn't. And if you open Task Manager you can see you program running but with 0% in CPU column. You can't End Task on it. The only option is to reset the PC. And when you do it, it takes ages to Restart.

Yeah, something genuinely wrong with this 2004 update.

And, as WuceBrayne, mentioned, I can't rollback as I have installed new fresh copy of Windows using MediaCreationTool. The tool gives you no other choice but to install 2004 build.

    Weird :(

Same here - I just spent 1h trying to post this message (trying to load this page, try another browser, rebooting which also took 10mins etc.).

Unfortunately, I can't return to the previous build as this was a fresh install (and I didn't count on the CreationTool to bring me this 2004 build yet).

Running as expected now and this setup has done so for days - but it seems only a matter of time before it randomly hangs again.

Running on Asus P8Z68-V LE with Intel i5 2500K.

Same here on one of my desktop i7 Asus P8Z68-V-LX, tried 3 times now. 2 time from iso and one time via win update.

Update finished without problem but then freezing when I try to open any windows 10 app like settings.

Freez for few minutes then open, same with start button, but the old control panel working fine.

Task manager shows the cpu has always 10% usage and also system disk always busy.

Active process is sometimes system, task sheduler or some host process.

No special hardware and all driver up to date (Intel, ASMedia, Microsoft, Nvidia)

On 3 other computer I have no such issue, updated 1x NB i5 Dell Voestro 5568, 1x NB i5 Asus X556U and even an very old Desktop Intel Core 2 Quad without any problem...
