You can use OBS-Virtual cam, it's a streaming software but with that plugin you can have your screen and your webcam.

I am an educator and will be using Microsoft Teams with students. Is there a way to use a second external camera and share that image with the people in your meeting at the same time as the primary camera on my laptop?

I would like to switch between the two. We use a teams platform at school for the remote teaching during this current situation.

2021-01-26T20:40:10+00:00 I am using OBS and I have two cameras. It works just fine in MS Teams *except* that the images are mirrored and I cannot figure out how to change it in MS Teams (like you can in Zoom). If I mirror the images in OBS then it shows up in Teams just fine, but I suspect this is a limitation of MS Teams.
At any rate, you can definitely use two cameras. You need OBS (which supports as many cameras as you want) and then OBS spits out a "virtual camera" to MS Teams. You can control which camera is showing from within OBS.

2021-01-27T09:33:25+00:00 You can mirror the video in obs; Select the thing you want to mirror, right click, -transform-flip horizontal. This works just fine for me.
