Auto muting of sound and microphone at random times when in Zoom

when in Zoom both the sound and my microphone randomly auto mute. I can unmuted them using f5 and f8 buttons but it will later auto mute again. There appears to be no pattern to the amount of time it stays on. Sometime 1 minutes sometimes as many as 10. I do not use any other meeting platforms so don't know if this is a Zoom problem or a microsoft problem. I am using an HP probook computer that is less than 6 months old. In Microsoft 10 software.

2020-05-12T20:21:12+00:00 I've been teaching yoga online via Zoom for the past five or six weeks and had no problem until yesterday when I was teaching a class in the evening for a yoga school and disastrously, the mike auto-muted randomly. I kept pressing the unmute button but when the problem continued, I had to admit defeat and luckily the head of the yoga school had come to the class and kindly agreed to take over. It was pretty awful, but we had a good chat about it, and have a test meeting coming up tomorrow before my next class which is on Thursday. I've been through the fix given above, where you untick various boxes in the control panel and go into the advanced feature on zoom to disable the function that reduces background noise interference, but I understand from the thread here that the matter lies with Zoom. I can't afford another laptop, and I'm going to lose what little work I have if this fix doesn't work.... I'm on an Asus Sonic Master laptop with Windows 10, for what it's worth...

If you can, keep your mic muted unless you are talking. SO FAR that has prevented my speakers from muting. Not everyone can do that though, but if you can it seems to help.
From what I've been able to diagnose across forums and with my experience (anecdotal, I know) there are certain frequencies of sounds like trigger the mic and speakers to mute, likely for the purpose of preventing a feedback-loop cycle.
I particularly noticed it when someone on a call I was in was outside. Any time the wind blew and caused background noise for them, it set it off and I ended up muted. It was then that I tried the "mute myself with the F8 key" and it stopped that behavior altogether

2020-05-28T18:35:34+00:00 Same issue on Lenova ThinkPad that is 8 months old. All other functions for audio are working. Only happens in zoom meetings with auto mute at about 20 minute timeframe.
