Audio and video pause automatically (and sometimes pause and play) only when I use an internal (Youtube, google) or 3rd party software (windows media player, VLC, films &TVs ). It happens only when I am playing a video or audio. No virus (after scan) Since the spacebar key is usually associated with play & pause, I tried typing something in MS word. I did not see any auto space being generated between 2 letters. (tested for 5 mins) Autoplay and pause (sometimes just pause) occur maybe after 20 seconds. (it is random) I can actually see the virtual pause and play button is toggled. (no other error message is shown, it happens as if I am physically pressing the spacebar key. issues in Windows 10 7. the window also very lag when it happening Driver issues? Which driver is it? Any suggestions or experiences? Please share your thoughts.

There is only one constant in all answers: bluetooth connection. Over here my bluetooth Sennheiser headphones (with mic) is causing the problem, once disconnected the audio and video plays smoothly. Hope the root cause can be determined soon. EDIT: I found some bluetooth drivers on the fujitsu website, and it seems the problem doesn't occur anymore.

İ have founded that the problem is Amazon Echo device. When you connected that device to pc over bluetooth, it have permission to control media playback. I could not find a way to fix it. Also, most of the times, there is lag between video and sound. I think we both use old model Hp which have slow bluetooth chip on it. I dont have virus or malware in my pc, as scanners say😂 Still could not find any reasonable solution except disconnecting bluetooth device , Amazon echo dot. It might be bug of echo dot as well. I've been struggling with this for a while now and after reading this thread, found my solution. People keep talking about the Amazon devices being connected via bluetooth as the issue. Well, I don't have any Amazon devices (more of a Google guy myself) connected but I did dig into my bluetooth settings and found a Jabra device connected that wasn't actually connected. I removed the device (not just disconnecting it) and that fixed the issue right away. So, take a look at what is connected via bluetooth. Start removing audio devices one at a time and try to play a video. I'm sure that'll fix it.

I just replaced my wireless mouse and keyboard with wired ones, and that didn't work either. I don't know. There's nothing else hooked to it by wireless or bluetooth. I'm chatting online with an IT Specialist in a bit. I have to get it figured out. I'll repost if I find a solution. Thanks for the replies.

Something the "consultant" didn't mention regarding bluetooth devices connected to the laptop in Windows 10, is that if you have multiple speaker devices paired, and more than 1 is connected, the system will struggle satisfying both -- especially if the power on the other, unintended device is off, and your settings say its connected. This was my case. Too bad we have to struggle to find the workarounds to something they should've tested prior to shipping. But, it is what it is. I simply "Disconnect"ed the other powered-down, unintended devices, and voila! She worky once again. Uh, MicroSoft, will you please add this test to your CI/CD suite? It should bubble up in priority for your customers. Thanks.

I had the same issue and it is solved after i disconnected my Bluetooth Speaker from Denon.
