Audio and video pauses automatically

Audio and video pause automatically (and sometimes pause and play) only when I use an internal (Youtube, google) or 3rd party software (windows media player, VLC, films &TVs ).

  1. It happens only when I am playing a video or audio.
  2. No virus (after scan)
  3. Since the spacebar key is usually associated with play & pause, I tried typing something in MS word. I did not see any auto space being generated between 2 letters. (tested for 5 mins)
  4. Autoplay and pause (sometimes just pause) occur maybe after 20 seconds. (it is random)
  5. I can actually see the virtual pause and play button is toggled. (no other error message is shown, it happens as if I am physically pressing the spacebar key.
  6. issues in Windows 10  

7. the window also very lag when it happening

  1. Driver issues? Which driver is it? Any suggestions or experiences? Please share your thoughts.

I had the same issue and it is solved after i disconnected my Bluetooth Speaker from Denon.

    Hi Lee.

    I'm writing for a friend, she's facing similar problems.

    She is a Lenovo laptop user. This problem has started last month and nothing worked out since then. It is happening with both Youtube website videos as well as videos stored on hard drive and SSD. She uses K-lite codec pack as no other players tend to work properly.

    Thanks. In my case the problem was that my wife was using a bluetooth speaker and my computer was connected. When she played it then she would pause the video for me. It took me a while to figure it out because the speaker was too far from my computer.

    I  turned  Bluetooth  off  and  it immediately  fixed   the  problem, I  was  using  xbox  one  controller  to  navigate  kodi. I'll  be  going  back  to  using  Logitech  wireless  mouse. Hope  this  helps

    Not  yet  buddy, but  freuqency  of  its  occurence  has   reduced  after  many  updates. Occurs  very  rarely  now. Also   when  scrolling  in  Device  manager  I  found  a  synaptics device (which is  already  present  in  mice  and  pointing  devices  section) installed  in  the  system  devices  section. I  disable  it  and   noticed  some  improvement. But  I  believe  it's  a   OS  issue  as  so  many  people  are  facing  it.   Hoping  it  would  get  solved  in  Windows  11.
