when trying to make it work, the options are to select which ones to upload, or upload all, or upload "items since last import"

you can click on the last option all day long and it never gets selected.  then the screen flashes and photos is closed down.

Yes! This is the same thing it does to me! I have to do a butt-backwards approach to get my other media files I have from a voice note app on my Samsung LG Styl 3 phone to get uploaded that used to upload. I have to switch from the "photos" to "MTP" mode.... Then the photos import tool will see the files... There is just a different media format like .m4a files witch are mp4 AAC audio... The odd thing is, clicking the button to upload these NEW FILES and ignoring the a old files a notification pops up and says "0" files uploaded successfully! LOL... Really? It says there is 32 new items of 374 and I had uploaded all my photos and videos already... I cannot select them and have to resort to manual folder allocation! There is no apps to bulk sort and allocate dated files into designated folders like the import options do automatically for Pete's sake! I want the folders dated like 2020-02-12....

The problem is, it says 0 of 374 selected, and when I choose "Items since last import"   The thing is, I have not been able to get the files to upload easily.... It just closes out! Another BUGGER OF AN ISSUE THERE IS NO OPTION TO DELETE FILES AFTER IMPORT! I see no option now as I had before! AND IT NEVER WORKED ANYWAY!!! I know for a fact they DO NOT OBVIOUSLY CARE about their customers....

Did they change something to not allow what was doable before? I am aware apps update and change stuff but overhauling the code like you all do is breaking things left and right! Its even being published broken with those forced updates!!!! The nerve of this....

    Hi simpsonizer,

Have you tried the Photo and Video app from the Microsoft store.

By the way - Microsoft doesn't actually monitor the "Microsoft Community" - we are on our own in here!

    Cheers

Hi Perry, I have tried the Photos and Video import, and after it duplicated all my photos - it later stopped working.  It doesn’t seem to bring in portrait photos or live photos or videos well.  I even paidfor the no ad version.

sadly - I have practicaly lost interest in my iPhone as far as photos, ans definitey lost interest in Microsoft and Windows.

    Wes
