"items since last import"

We have several family PCs here at home in Switzerland, all running Windows 10 and the embedded Photos app "Import/From a USB device" no longer works correctly with any of our iPhones. The German version Fotos hangs up at the start while looking for photographs to import. The English version Photos doesn't crash immediately but I've noticed some differences that indicate this is an updated app. The "Import settings" function no longer includes the possibility to delete all photographs on the iPhone. The app defaults to "Import items/None". It is possible to select "Import items/All items" and this works. However, selecting "Import items/Items since last import" results in the app crashing and exiting without an error message. I hope this helps you reproduce the problem and Microsoft can fix it as soon as possible.

I’m having the same problem.  Items Since Last Import just freezes and crashes now.  Only been happening

last 2 weeks maybe.  Before it never happened.  I have a iPhone XS Max and use a USB cable on a Samsung laptop.  Never had a problem importing photos until last week and a half or so.

I tried uninstalling and it will not let me.  It starts to uninstall, and then I get an error that says it may not have been successful.

I am experiencing exactly the same symptoms, in a basically identical scenario.  This started after a Windows update within the last few weeks (April 2020).

I am having the same problem and just reported via Feedback Hub.  This is awful.  Mine is even shutting down when I go in and select individual photo to import.  UGH.
