Hi ESAKWAN,
The Photo & Video Import app allows you to select Import All or Import New.
Thanks Perry. A small question, will the new app import all the photos in my iphone (+1,000 photos and vids)? Actually I just need to import 33 new photos with an old app.
Thank you Thank you Thank you......It worked, my iPHone memory was full and i was unable to import for a couple of weeks.......glad I found this thread......hope Microsoft fixes this issue soon, but in the meantime the app that was suggested is a dream come true.
Hi Perry,
Thank you for suggesting the Photo & Video Import. It worked for me for about 1 week, and now even THIS is starting to crash.
Note: On the Photo & Video Import app - I had to go to my iPhone and select Settings, Photos, and at the bottom where it says Transfer to Mac or PC:
Automatic - converts EIF files to JPG
Keep Originals - was importing EIF photos to my desktop.
I was happy with this - it seemed to keep track of what I had downloaded before or not, and you can customize what folder to put the imports.
I can't figure out why this is acting like MS Photos now, and stops half way through an import.
I take 5-10 photos (dog photos - watching my puppy grow up) - I'm about ready to return this HP with Microsoft and buy an iMac.
Wes
Per Perry's Research - Thank-you very much.
Microsoft Store - PHOTO & VIDEO Import - works for uploading your photos.
Ditto with what everyone else has said. What a waste that Microsoft updating has become no better than a pothole patching crew. They improve one thing while creating three or four other problems in the process. Personally, I'm not downloading any 3rd-party apps as a workaround for this issue. We, as users and consumers, need to hold Microsoft accountable for this chicanery. They claim to improve, when in fact they break more and more items with each update.
Get this issue fixed, Microsoft!
