"items since last import"

Exact same problem here as well - it shows how many photos since last import but the actual photos are not selected. When you try to select "items since last import" from the drop down, it crashes. Definitely a new problem since last windows update.  The only way I can get them to import is if I select the photos manually which is very frustrating. Hopefully there is a fix coming?

I'm having exactly the same problem, it says I have 4 new photos  or whatever, at the bottom, but I cannot change the import option to import these new photos. Just stuck on 'none' then it crashes. Its def. a Windows update, I have had no problems till a week or two ago.

We have several family PCs here at home in Switzerland, all running Windows 10 and the embedded Photos app "Import/From a USB device" no longer works correctly with any of our iPhones. The German version Fotos hangs up at the start while looking for photographs to import. The English version Photos doesn't crash immediately but I've noticed some differences that indicate this is an updated app. The "Import settings" function no longer includes the possibility to delete all photographs on the iPhone. The app defaults to "Import items/None". It is possible to select "Import items/All items" and this works. However, selecting "Import items/Items since last import" results in the app crashing and exiting without an error message. I hope this helps you reproduce the problem and Microsoft can fix it as soon as possible.

I’m having the same problem.  Items Since Last Import just freezes and crashes now.  Only been happening

last 2 weeks maybe.  Before it never happened.  I have a iPhone XS Max and use a USB cable on a Samsung laptop.  Never had a problem importing photos until last week and a half or so.

I tried uninstalling and it will not let me.  It starts to uninstall, and then I get an error that says it may not have been successful.
