Very interesting! Thanks for letting me know. I will try it again although now I have the import photo app that works fine
anyway. I do not do the delete function as I keep some on the phone
Thanks for sharing this
I am one of the people who reported this problem via the Hub but without any feedback from Microsoft. I believe the Hub is similar to the Microsoft Community forum - we all talk to each other about Microsoft software that doesn't work properly while they ignore us and concentrate on making money.
However, this afternoon I noticed that the Microsoft Photos app "Import/From a USB device" function "Import items/Items since last import" suddenly works again. Unfortunately, the "Import settings" function still does not include the original possibility to delete all photographs on the iPhone. So I will continue to use the (non-Microsoft) Photo & Video Import app (published by Axel Rietschin) which works fine for me.
Best Regards
Perry
Thanks for clarifying. I did not pay close attention. And I did not know about Hub so thanks.
I am not sure if anyone has brought it to Microsoft's attention. As someone stated, they do not read these messages. But the free Microsoft Import Photos works fine so the best workaround is to use that! But I agree would like to hear something that they know of issue and will fix in future release!
You guys gotta stop calling it 'Microsoft Import', the free app that works from the store is NOT a Microsoft product. It's just called "Photo & Video Import".
The way to send this to Microsoft is to use the Feedback Hub app in Windows 10, of which there are reports there already.
