The latest windows quality update is causing very serious problems. I always keep windows on automatic update . It was after a new update " cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1909 for x64 based systems (KB4549951) '' . As soon as the downloading of this update completed and installed and enters the phase for restart , first my cursor become unresponsive , after that wifi disconnected automatically and then audio driver stopped working . And then the whole system become unresponsive . Somehow I managed to restart . So first the system turned off . And now when my system boots up , the screen shows dell logo and then starting diagnosis . All physical hardwares are checked and they are working properly . it again tries to start but failed. It shows startup error and fails to resolve on its own . Now the window is not able to start and it got stuck on the boot menu . From there I restored from restore point and somehow managed to start my windows again . And after that everything was working fine until windows update again automatically downloaded and installed and again the whole issue described above is repeated . I want you to resolve this as soon as possible and release a stable update.

2020-04-21T11:42:27+00:00 HI Cassandra,
I posted a reply somewhere in this chain. There were no problems identified with the scan. I also noted another person has lost files of the same date range. It would be great to get an explanation of what the Windows Upgrade did, and how to get the files back.

2020-04-21T11:47:45+00:00 Hi Lucatrivellone,
the files I lost did not appear in the Recycle Bin, and I relied on my independant non-Microsoft backup to get them back.
I am seriously concerned and am considering stopping all Windows upgrades unless they can sort this.
My only recommendation is a Live Chat or Phone conversation so you can get to the bottom it.
If you have the opportunity to restore your PC to an earlier time, I would do that. (through settings, Recovery & update). If it was on the 19th, hopefully you can roll back the update.
I think Microsoft has seriously stuffed up with this update.
