After installing KB4493509, devices with some Asian language packs installed may receive the error, "0x800f0982 - PSFX_E_MATCHING_COMPONENT_NOT_FOUND." <ol><br><li>Uninstall and reinstall any recently added language packs. For instructions, see <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4496404" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Manage the input and display language settings in Windows 10</a>.</li><li>Select <span>Check for Updates</span> and install the April 2019 Cumulative Update. For instructions, see <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027667" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Update Windows 10</a>.</li></ol><br><br>Note If reinstalling the language pack does not mitigate the issue, reset your PC as follows:<br><ol><br><li>Go to the <span>Settings </span>app > <span>Recovery</span>.</li><li>Select <span>Get Started</span> under the <span>Reset this PC</span> recovery option.</li><li>Select <span>Keep my Files</span>.</li></ol><br><br>Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

There are no known issues for KB4549951.

Symptom Workaround
We have seen social media reports related to KB4549951 that mention Bluetooth, a stop error with a blue screen, and other related issues. To date, we have not seen these issues reflected in telemetry, support data, or customer feedback channels.     I am just a little uncomfortable with this update.  After I restarted the computer, It presented a "microsoft" screen with my email address asking for my windows password (not regular logon screen).  I input my password and it was rejected as incorrect.  I entered it again, and it was again rejected as incorrect.  I closed the screen with the x in the corner.  The computer then presented me with my normal login screen, and accepted my pin for login.  It is very disconcerting when you get a screen from microsoft rejecting your microsoft password, which is clearly still valid.

    I learned and I have been using the internet for so many years, now. That whenever you have a problem with Your PC, and You've tried everything you know. Just Shut it down and restart it.

    Please see my post regarding the issues I am having.

    Why when so many others are reporting issues that this Post continues to display the header as "no issues" and where is the response from Microsoft.

    Again Microsoft say there are no issues with this update?  Really look to community and ask yourself the question again.

    This is a users forum, Microsoft don't get involved in it. The latest Cumulative update has been just as much a disaster as there issued in March. Having resolved my issues with my laptop I now have a failure to install April's on my desktop, which has had no issues at all til now.

    I am also experience issues from what appears to be high CPU, latency moving between apps and opened windows, etc.

    All stemming for this update (KB4552152) so after reading your reply to this user I ran the command src /scannow and my scan

    did find some corrupt files and it appears it fixed them. Not clear yet if that has resolved my problem given the issue is very random.

    Can I upload my log file so you can review it? Here's the output from the command once it finished. Thank you in advance.

    Hello!

    I have an MSI and yesterday after many many notifications that my device requires an update I finally gave in and clicked on Update Now.  Everything went fine until my laptop restarted and I was hit with the infamous blue screen ( YOUR DEVICE RAN INTO A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO.....) with each time a different stop code ( here are some I managed to remember MEMORY_MANAGEMENT/ DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION).  Then I was hit with the IT LOOKS LIKE WINDOWS DIDN'T LOAD CORRECTLY and I was left with the choice SEE REPAIR OPTIONS or RESTART MY PC. Now I know after various attempts that restarting my laptop doesn't solve it. So I clicked SEE REPAIR OPTIONS > TROUBLESHOOT > RESET THIS PC > REMOVE EVERYTHING. That didn't work as well basically everything I tried didn't work, a restore point, uninstalling update, reset to MSI factory, startup repair,... I tried contacting the support center but the virtual assistant was obviously no help at all. Was looking for a way to contact via e-mail however I couldn't find one for them. I somehow found a number that I will be calling tomorrow. I really need help, I don't understand much of what's happening and how I can possibly fix it.  Here are some more info about my device and windows product.

    • Windows 10 Home version 1903
    • OS Build 10.0.18362.720
    • MSI GF63 8RD
    • 16GB RAM

    Hey CJElobara I have an MSI Gaming laptop too and this update hosed my system up, my issue is very random but what it does is starts to lag, lots of latency moving from app to app, or window to window. If I call up TASK MANAGER, the right click on the system bar takes forever to come up, and once it does it's blank, I have to move my cursor up and down the blank window and as goes over where the options read out they start showing up. Crazy! I've tried everything short of resetting and I fear I don't want to do that.

    My PC info:

    MSI GT70 0ND 3rd Gen

    Win10 1909 (OS Build 18363.778)

    16GB RAM

    Hope all this thread gets to MS support so they can help all of us impacted by this poorly produced update.
