After installing KB4493509, devices with some Asian language packs installed may receive the error, "0x800f0982 - PSFX_E_MATCHING_COMPONENT_NOT_FOUND." <ol><br><li>Uninstall and reinstall any recently added language packs. For instructions, see <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4496404" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Manage the input and display language settings in Windows 10</a>.</li><li>Select <span>Check for Updates</span> and install the April 2019 Cumulative Update. For instructions, see <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027667" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Update Windows 10</a>.</li></ol><br><br>Note If reinstalling the language pack does not mitigate the issue, reset your PC as follows:<br><ol><br><li>Go to the <span>Settings </span>app > <span>Recovery</span>.</li><li>Select <span>Get Started</span> under the <span>Reset this PC</span> recovery option.</li><li>Select <span>Keep my Files</span>.</li></ol><br><br>Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

There are no known issues for KB4549951.

Symptom Workaround
We have seen social media reports related to KB4549951 that mention Bluetooth, a stop error with a blue screen, and other related issues. To date, we have not seen these issues reflected in telemetry, support data, or customer feedback channels. We continuously investigate all customer feedback and are closely monitoring this situation.<br><br><br>Note If you experience any issues, we'd like to know.     I have been without the use of my computer since the latest Windows 10 update occurred for me on the night of April 15, 2020. It made my computer totally unusable. The only thing I was able to get after signing in on Thursday morning was the blue screen of death. The computer would not boot up and it would not go into safe mode. I could not get it to do anything. Believe me, I wasted many hours trying when I could have been working. Of all times for this to happen, it had to happen when most people are trying to work from home. I was preparing to have to purchase a new computer. I did a system restore and that did not fix it. I did a computer reset on April 17, 2020 and that finally got my computer back where I could use it again. But of course, I lost all of my apps and programs that I had added when I did the reset so now I can waste a lot more time trying to get back everything I lost from loading the Windows 10 update. I am very angry and disappointed with Microsoft right now for the extra stress and anxiety this has caused.

    I have my updates "paused" for as long as possible.  The problem is, Microsoft's crappy, Octobre 2018 update broke my ability to do back-ups on my computer.  Oh, and it also broke my touch screen, so that does not work anymore, and the program no longer exists on my computer.  I have had to get creative in terms of how to save my files.  For a January 2020 update decide it would be cute and funny to move files around, delete desktop files I had, etc, and I had to go hunting for them on my hard drive, and retrieve them.  I am FINISHED with Windows 10, and will try and put this one off as long as possible.  For it is clear that whomever has been writing these updates the last few years does not know what in the hell they are doing, nor do they care.

    Cassandra, thank you for  that. If that works then that is the most useful bit of information I've had in years thank you. I probably won't be able to look into it in depth for a few days, I've volunteered to go back to Fire & Rescue during present crisis. But I will report back. If there are any "help" links you've come across that would be useful. 

    There are about 4 CU's Ive missed for 1809  1 in Feb and 2 or 3 in March.

    I opened my laptop today and it booted to the install windows page even though I have windows already installed and none of the troubleshooting functions are working. I believe it is because of the update

    kb4549951 fails with (0x80070057)

    HP Notebook V2G94EA#ABU

    Microsoft Windows version 1909 (OS Build 18363.693)

    Before this issue all updates were always successful first time.

    Have performed the following.

    1.  Ran all items as prompted via Windows Help

         Including but not limted to running each step in script ResetWUEng

    2.  Performed a Reset this PC.

    3.  Performed a complete rebuild using HP recovery media as when first bought PC.  Building to the OS details above.

    After each stage had same problems kb4549951 fails with (0x80070057)

    Therefore have reached the point were I can not trying anything else.  Now waiting for Windows 20H1.

    Any suggestions welcome.

    Found this website https://www.repairwin.com/prevent-a-specific-windows-update-or-driver-from-installing-in-windows-10/

    Downloaded Microsoft Tool wushowhide select KB4549951 to hide.  Now windows update reporting uptodate,  no errors.  I know that KB4549951 is not installed but its clean now.
