I use Microsoft Office and Avast Security as well as a few apps that don't affect any file deletion/archiving/backup etc. I have all archiving and backup/restore turned off.

HI Cassandra,

Where can I find "All Apps"? I AM NOT A TECHNICIAN. I do not want to ruin this computer!
I cannot connect to your device.
Try this:
Open Command Prompt with Admin Options. Click Start then "All Apps" then "Windows System" then right click Command Prompt and select "More" and then "Run as Administrator.
You should see this:
Copy and paste this command into the command line: SFC /SCANNOW and press enter.
Let us know what the program says once it is finished we can guide you further from there.
