Servicing Stack Updates

It is recommended to install Servicing stack updates before installing the cumulative updates. This update makes quality improvements to the servicing stack, which is the component that installs Windows updates. Servicing stack updates (SSU) makes sure that you have a robust and reliable servicing stack so that your devices can receive and install Microsoft updates

Known Issues

Symptom Workaround
After installing KB4493509, devices with some Asian language packs installed may receive the error, "0x800f0982 - PSFX_E_MATCHING_COMPONENT_NOT_FOUND." <ol><br><li>Uninstall and reinstall any recently added language packs. For instructions, see <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4496404" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Manage the input and display language settings in Windows 10</a>.</li><li>Select <span>Check for Updates</span> and install the April 2019 Cumulative Update. For instructions, see <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027667" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Update Windows 10</a>.</li></ol><br><br>Note If reinstalling the language pack does not mitigate the issue, reset your PC as follows:<br><ol><br><li>Go to the <span>Settings </span>app > <span>Recovery</span>.</li><li>Select <span>Get Started</span> under the <span>Reset this PC</span> recovery option.</li><li>Select <span>Keep my Files</span>.</li></ol><br><br>Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

There are no known issues for KB4549951.

Known issues in this update

Symptom Workaround
We have seen social media reports related to KB4549951 that mention Bluetooth, a stop error with a blue screen, and other related issues. To date, we have not seen these issues reflected in telemetry, support data, or customer feedback channels. We continuously investigate all customer feedback and are closely monitoring this situation.<br><br><br>Note If you experience any issues, we'd like to know. Please provide feedback using the keyboard shortcut Windows + F or go to the Start menu and select Feedback Hub so that we can investigate.

    Is one of these idiotic and poorly developed updates responsible for my new found audio issue? Random uninstalling of my audio device drivers while I am working from home?

    New Optional update 18362.815 and 18363.815 are available starting today.

    With this update, lots of problem with my blutooth peripherals: keyboard, mouse and speakers.

    The bluetooth connexion stop randomly...

    Incorrect, It lists SOME apps in the Start Menu by default but by no means all. As you rightly observed I do not use the Start Menu for a very obvious reason. It is pointless. You can start almost any program with Cortana by using your voice and the ones you do not normally use are listed under "All Apps" as I have stated and in alphabetical order so pretty easy to find from there.

     But for most of this I just ask Cortana to launch the program and she does. Viz:

    For this one you answer her question by saying  "The first one"

    And so on.
