Servicing Stack Updates

It is recommended to install Servicing stack updates before installing the cumulative updates. This update makes quality improvements to the servicing stack, which is the component that installs Windows updates. Servicing stack updates (SSU) makes sure that you have a robust and reliable servicing stack so that your devices can receive and install Microsoft updates

Symptom Workaround
After installing KB4493509, devices with some Asian language packs installed may receive the error, "0x800f0982 - PSFX_E_MATCHING_COMPONENT_NOT_FOUND." <ol><br><li>Uninstall and reinstall any recently added language packs. For instructions, see <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4496404" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Manage the input and display language settings in Windows 10</a>.</li><li>Select <span>Check for Updates</span> and install the April 2019 Cumulative Update. For instructions, see <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027667" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Update Windows 10</a>.</li></ol><br><br>Note If reinstalling the language pack does not mitigate the issue, reset your PC as follows:<br><ol><br><li>Go to the <span>Settings </span>app > <span>Recovery</span>.</li><li>Select <span>Get Started</span> under the <span>Reset this PC</span> recovery option.</li><li>Select <span>Keep my Files</span>.</li></ol><br><br>Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

There are no known issues for KB4549951.

Symptom Workaround
We have seen social media reports related to KB4549951 that mention Bluetooth, a stop error with a blue screen, and other related issues. To date, we have not seen these issues reflected in telemetry, support data, or customer feedback channels. We continuously investigate all customer feedback and are closely monitoring this situation.<br><br><br>Note If you experience any issues, we'd like to know.     Joaquim & Raffa76,

    I have KB4550945 on my PC and laptop, but I think I am in the wrong thread for this multiple OFFICE WORD problem on startup. (45 instances of Word opened this morning - it seems to increase every day).

    You may both have the WIN10 UPDATE problem but I think my problem is unrelated. 

    Can you provide your windows update log as a screen capture? Just save it as a .jpeg file and upload the picture?

    I can't access your windows log update (see below).

    You can see all my updates in my previous post to compare with yours. 

    From what I can tell, Win10 has different versions or different build numbers for a laptop and a PC.

    My updates are for a PC @ Build 18363.815.  

    My laptop is at the same WIN10 update but it is at Build 18363.752. 

    My laptop DOESN'T have this multiple OFFICE WORD problem on startup yet it has the infamous KB4550945 update. 

    But my laptop says I have Microsoft 365 with Word not Office 2016 with WORD so that's a clue. 

    So, I think I have a problem with the last Office 2016 Update for PCs not the updates with WIN10.  

    What I am going to do is go to WORD on my laptop and send in FEEDBACK to MS there. I'll see what they say.

    I'll check back here from time to time to see how things are going with the rest of you.

    this is the windows update log of my pc 

    i could do that but i don't believe that the root folder delete files will be recover by doing this

    neither the user profile

    i don't have the kb4550945 i only have the KB4549951

    What about uninstalling KB4550945? Anyone try this yet?
