2020-04-22T03:59:19+00:00 This update incurred a grave error on my laptop. It's an Acer Aspire 315-53 with a Samsung SSD and Windows 10 Home. It appears that upon installing KB4549951 my laptop refuses to boot. The error which I recieved was "INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE".
I've managed to restore the system to pre-update position (which I had to do 3 times to figure this out) and uninstall both KB4549951 and KB4551762. Having removed these updates and paused Windows Updates, I am now able to boot and restart as normal but it seems that I can only turn off the updater for a limited period.
Having read articles that this update has caused multiple hardware issues for other users, is there any chance that it will be fixed in another update before the 26th of May when my Windows Update decides to kick back into life?

2020-04-21T23:58:35+00:00 A bit of an update regarding my previous post:
The "KERNEL MODE HEAP CORRUPTION" error happened again even though I uninstalled the KB4549951 update, so there is probably no correlation between the two. I'll make a separate thread to solve my problem.
Also, I understand that my post was quoted in articles such as Windows Latest. Kudos to the writers and I apologise if my post was misleading in case it hasn't happened to you.
