zoom and windows 10 - microphone and speaker drop off

I am trying to use zoom on my Windows 10 HP laptop, but the microphone and speaker drop off after just a short time.  My speaker is a "Realtek".  What settings should I be using?  I have both the speaker and microphone set to work with the app.

    I have had this happen twice during a meeting, but having consistent Mic and Audio issues while in Zoom or Teams.  Any help is much appreciated. I bought a brand new HP Envy.

    I have made the changes you suggested and today had a very successful zoom meeting :-) It's looking good because my microphone and sound had dropped out on every single one of my previous zoom meetings. Thank you so much for posting your suggestion.
